Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms

These terms cover use of vdc.events, operated by VDC CIC, and submissions through this website. Contact John Gunn at info@vdc.events with questions. By submitting a registration or suggestion, you agree to the applicable submission terms below. Marketing permission is separate.

2. A planned event, not a confirmed booking

Veterans Day Concerts is in development. August 2028 is a target, and raising at least £50 million for veteran charities is an ambition, not a guarantee. Venue, artists, dates, funding, charity beneficiaries and ticketing arrangements remain subject to confirmation and may change or not proceed.

Images are illustrative and do not confirm a venue, performer, endorsement or military affiliation. References to Live Aid describe an ambition; they do not imply an association with its organisers.

3. Registration and future ticketing

Registration is an expression of interest only. It is not a ticket purchase, ballot entry, reservation, guarantee of notification, priority access or promise of admission. There is no fee for submitting these forms.

The current forms save entries in your own browser only; they do not send them to VDC CIC or enrol you in a central mailing list. Please see the Privacy Policy. Any future ticket sales, ballot or donations will have separate terms, including eligibility and any applicable charges, cancellation and refund arrangements.

4. Artist suggestions

Suggestions are advisory only, not votes in a binding competition. We may consider, combine, disregard or remove suggestions; no selection, booking or response is promised. Submission creates no entitlement to payment, credit, tickets or other reward.

Submit only content you are entitled to share. Do not include private or sensitive information about yourself or others, defamatory or unlawful statements, threats, discriminatory content, spam or copyrighted material beyond what you are permitted to use. Do not impersonate another person or imply an artist has agreed to perform.

If suggestions are later collected by VDC CIC, you allow us to use the artist name and your non-personal suggestion content, without payment, solely to evaluate and plan the event. This does not transfer ownership of your content or grant rights in an artist’s work, name or image, and does not override your data rights.

5. Responsible website use

Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the site, introduce malicious code, misuse forms or harvest personal information. Administration is restricted to authorised users. We may restrict misuse proportionately and as permitted by law.

6. Website content and links

Website text, branding and visuals are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights held by VDC CIC or their respective owners. You may view and share links for lawful personal use. Any further use requires permission or a legal exception. No third-party rights are granted by these terms.

External websites are operated independently. A link is not an endorsement, and their own terms and privacy notices apply. We aim to keep this site accurate and available but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that plans will remain unchanged.

7. Liability and your statutory rights

To the extent permitted by law, VDC CIC is not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable from our breach of these terms, or business losses arising from personal use of this free information website. You should not incur travel, accommodation or other costs in reliance on unconfirmed event plans.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not remove statutory consumer rights or rights under data-protection law.

8. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains information handling and your rights. Agreeing to these terms does not constitute consent to marketing; an optional, separate choice is provided on registration.

9. Changes and disputes

We may update these terms by publishing a dated version. Updated submission terms apply to new submissions, not retrospectively. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where lawful.

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales may hear disputes, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or the right to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction where applicable. Please contact info@vdc.events first if you would like us to try to resolve a concern; this does not restrict your legal rights.
